Welcome to Himalaya Cashmere
We are a very small cashmere manufactory located in the beautiful northern Indian Himalaya.
Our home is in the Kullu Valley, where we process luxurious pure cashmere for you.
The exceptional cashmere goat fiber we use comes from the local nomadic herders, the Changpas in Ladakh.
They live with their animals throughout the year on the high-altitude pastures of Changthang in the eastern part of Ladakh (4,200 - 4,900 meters). These extreme conditions produce one of the finest cashmere fibers in the world.
We spin the yarn by hand and weave it on a handloom into
enchanting, noble and authentic scarves - feel the essence of the Himalaya!
